Will this work on my .223 Wylde barrel?
Yes. The 1/2x28 thread pitch is standard for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO barrels, which includes .223 Wylde chambers. Ensure your barrel's threads are clear and properly cut before installation.
Does it require timing with a crush washer or shims?
Yes. For proper orientation, you must use a standard muzzle device crush washer or a set of precision shims. The device should be timed so the top ports are oriented upward when the rifle is held in a normal firing position.
