What is the care level for this snake?
This is an intermediate-level species. While hardy, they require specific humidity gradients and secure enclosures. A standard 40-gallon breeder tank or equivalent PVC cage is suitable for an adult. Provide a thermal gradient of 75-85°F with a basking spot and a humid hide.
How does the hypo tangerine morph differ from a normal Honduran?
The "Hypo" (hypomelanistic) gene reduces black pigment, allowing the orange and red colors to appear more vivid and saturated. The "Tangerine" line selectively enhances this bright orange banding, resulting in the high-contrast, fiery appearance you see here.
