The color stripe trait is polygenic, influenced by multiple genes. Pairing stripe with stripe increases the odds of producing striped offspring, but it is not a simple dominant/recessive trait like some other morphs.
What's the difference between a gargoyle and crested gecko?
Gargoyle geckos (Rhacodactylus auriculatus) are slightly more robust, have a different head shape with bony protrusions, and can regrow their tails if lost. Crested geckos (Correlophus ciliatus) do not regrow tails.
